Anyways, here is a list of 12 wonderfully made cakes for your pup’s special day! How will you ever choose?!

1 | Love from the Oven

This cake is brought to you by a loving mother of a beautiful cocker spaniel in celebration of National Spoil Your Pet Day. With only 7 ingredients for the cake and 2 ingredients for the frosting, this is a fun and simple recipe you must try!

And look what she did with these Milk-Bone dog treats! They are such a cute added topping for this awesome cake!

2 | The Almond Eater

Erin from The Almond Eater made this delicious cake for her pup’s 2nd birthday. Her girl Layla is one of the only dogs in the world that likes the vet!

This recipe includes applesauce, pumpkin, and peanut butter. A dog’s dream cake!

3 | Chic Sparkes

Sarah Dickerson from Chic Sparkles (an adorable lifestyle blog) made this mini berry-almond cake for her sweet Coco’s birthday! I mean, I’m no dog, but that cake looks amazing!

This cake calls for only 5 ingredients and the icing only has 2! She made this cake nice and healthy for your pup (and for you too). That’s right! You can have a piece of this cake too! If your dog allows, that is.

If you want your cake to turn out as professional looking as this one, I’d suggest using a cake pan!

This is a great 3 piece set from Amazon for less than $16! It comes with 4-inch, 7-inch, and 9-inch pans.

4 | Sweet Teal

Jenny made this cake for her little Gunner’s first birthday. She went all out for his birthday: cake, presents, and even singing him the birthday song. How cute!

This cake calls for 8 ingredients and the “icing” is just peanut butter! Dogs love peanut butter! And so do people. Yes, this is also a human-friendly cake!

And you don’t need anything fancy to make this cute bone shape, Jenny just cut it out herself! That’s the way to do it!

5 | Other People’s Pets

Ellen from Other People’s Pets has this wonderful, healthy recipe for your pup’s cake!

The cake calls for 5 ingredients and the icing calls for 4 (although 3 of them are optional) which makes a very quick and simple baking experience. We all can appreciate that!

6 | Bark and Biscuits

Elizabeth runs an adorable dog blog at Bark and Biscuits! And this cake is one of her many great recipes!

This recipe calls for 12 ingredients total and, guess what? You can eat it too! And she designed it so you can substitute many of the ingredients based on your pup’s dietary needs!

P.S. If you make her recipe, make sure to take a pic and send it to her! She will post your picture on her recipe post! How fun!

7 | Where’s the Frenchie

Nikki and her 2 beautiful Frenchies have made a delicious grain-free strawberry almond cake. For her own birthday, she made her pups their own dog-friendly cake. How great is she?!

With just 5 ingredients for the cake and 2 for the frosting, there is no excuse not to try it! I have a great appreciation for the grain-free part of this recipe.

Since my little pup is a schnauzer, she has a grain-free diet. So this is definitely the recipe I’m going to try!

She uses little baking dishes like these! So it’s okay if you don’t have the fancy cake pans, I don’t have them either (yet).

8 | Daily Dog Tag

This is Paisley Ann the Sheltie. One of the most beautiful dogs I’ve ever seen and this post is filled with incredible pictures of her (the inner photographer is coming out in me)!

The cake calls for 6 ingredients and the icing calls for 2. Another quick and simple recipe you must try!

9 | Urban Bakes

This delicious treat is a carrot cake with neufchâtel cheese frosting made by the talented Connie from Urban Bakes. She made this cake for her pup Grizz-Lee’s 3rd birthday, such a sweetie! This adorable half poodle, half shih tzu is certainly loved and spoiled by his momma!

Our dogs are supposed to be spoiled by us, right? I know my pup is!

This is another cake you can enjoy with your special baby! It calls for 8 ingredients and the icing only calls for 2.

10 | The Little Epicurean

Maryanne from The Little Epicurean made this amazing Peanut Butter Apple Pupcake for her pup Charlie’s 4th birthday. She adopted him from her local Petsmart through the organization Cuddly Canines. I love that! I want to rescue a dog one day!

The cake calls for 9 ingredients and the “icing” is just peanut butter! It calls for a little more ingredients than the other cakes, but for a peanut butter apple cake, your dog will think it’s totally worth it!

Want some super cute candles on your pup’s birthday cake too? Here are some great ones from Amazon!

11 | Brown Eyed Baker

Here, Michelle has made a very yummy Coconut-Honey Doggy Cake for her pup’s 3rd birthday. Duke is a beautiful golden retriever and his brother, Einstein, is a golden too. I’m so jealous! My dream dog (and our next dog) is a golden retriever!

This may be the most simple recipe here with only five ingredients for the cake and the “frosting” is yogurt! You have no reason not to try this one!

12 | Use Real Butter

This sweet pup, Neva, got this beautiful cake for her first birthday. How sweet! This seriously an awesome cake!

The cake is made of 6 ingredients and the icing is made of 2. It contains bananas and applesauce… seems healthy and tasty, right?

Check out the recipe here: Use Real Butter

There you have it! Told you they were beautiful! I’m still not sure which one I’ll be choosing! I’ll have to make Callie decide somehow…

Which one looks one delicious to you?

Obviously, you can’t try them all at once, so feel free to pin this for another time! I plan to try them all at some point!
